Clean and basic with compact modern rooms and modular bathroom. Staff helpful. Car Park tiny and full so additional cost to park nearby. Breakfast adequate.
Checking in was met with a table next to the bar. I do get the idea as you don't need a grand reception just to check in, a simple laptop and key is fine. My room size was normal however the heat extractor only heats up the area by the door and I had it on 30c and it was more like 20c it was generating. The extractor in the bathroom I don't think worked and the demister mirror in the bathroom cleared a patch the size of an apple at stomach height. Dinner and breakfast was fine. On checking out I wasn't asked how my stay was....but I'm sure they will know soon as they do reply to these reviews.
Beautiful hotel, very clean, very friendly attentive & professional staff,good for those with mobility issues, EXCEPT FOR THE BED that felt as HARD AS CONCRETE. I had NO SLEEP AT ALL & my husband could hardly move the next day through the back pain. Due to the beds we could not stay there again.
Disappointing for a Ibis hotel. In order to submit this review a star had to be selected otherwise it would've been 0. The room did not appear very clean, stained curtains and the carpet had a awful musty smell. The two towels supplied had seen better days. There was a water leak in the middle of the night from a unit above the door. Won't be using this hotel again.
Good value. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and well enough appointed with tea making facilities in the room. The bar was quite comfortable and pleasant. I've docked a star because my room overlooked a busy road which was quite noisy even in the middle of the night.
