Our cat has had the misfortune of visiting Vets 4 Pets frequently over the past year. The staff and vets are polite and helpful most of the time but most of the vets have a habit of prescribing expensive medication and instead of carefully considering the best course of treatment. It took far too long (MONTHS!) and an escalation by me to find the root cause of my pet's condition. You get the impression they try to get you in for as many charged appointments as possible and drag out the treatment. Add to this that most of the vets seem to be young and inexperienced. When we saw the senior vet via an escalation, he immediately performed a proper examination and found the root cause. Unfortunately it was three months late!This is of course my personal opinion and experience. On the whole they are acceptable but make sure your pet has good insurance.Update: Adding one extra star since the surgery and after care performed on my pet was excellent and he is doing well.
Disgusting reception staff, totally uncompassioate promised a call back over medication for my furbaby regarding collection of medication waited all day no phone call... arrived at 1707 pm on Saturday and there closed.... a break in meds my dog we can not afford, had to wait til the Sunday to chase the medication again, the amount of money they have had from penny, 4 operations on her legs... this has paid towards the reception staff wages!!! I asked reception staff about making an official complaint, was informed it was logged and an email being sent to the vet who deals with the complaints.... Im still waiting.... you obviously dont care about the people that actually pay your wages or care about my baby... I never thought I would say this but I will be going to oadby vets for pets....Sameer the vet has been totally amazing with my last furbaby and penny but one vet does not make a good practise. Jane is absolutely amazing and very helpful, the reception staff should take a leaf out of her book. I had been with this practise for 10 years even when it was companion care !!! disgusted !!
I have used these vets for 6 years, they are friendly, knowledgeable and they care. Prices are in line with the service they provide. Even though theres one nearer to me, I will not change practices due to the high level of service they give
Some of the most committed vets I've been too. It can get busy and loud but everyone does their best to respect each other and their loved ones. Couldn't recommend more.
