It's better to go during the week when not so crowded
I had tried another TK Maxx previous to this visit, and had not had a great experience. It was a bit of a messy smash and grab experience to be honest, but after some thought, I decided to try another store.I shouldn't have bothered. It was a chaotic mess, with some shelfs absolutely packed out with random, bashed about bits, to which I overheard the assistants say "what shall we do with this extra clearance stuff".... "oh just add it to the shelf as well" When we finally got to the till, the queue was overflowing into the aisles, with one cashier on when there were some team members milling around and yet no one helped.If you want a good price on their candles etc then go for it, but I think I left with a candle and PTSD as a bonus buy
Nice collection of things. Great place to get quality clothes/shoes in reasonable prices. Very much recommended. Really like it.
Vast amount of stock in this store and I am sure there are bargains to be had but you've got to have the time to delve about to get them. A lot of the non clothing items are cosmetically damaged ie: boxes ripped and packaging torn which means you can't buy them as gifts. There's only one lot of checkouts for the whole store on the 1st floor and at busy times it takes forever to pay which puts me off going there.
This particular TK Maxx is not as messy as some, it is large and has a large home section that we love. You can often find some real gems if you look properly. It can be a bit hit and miss and sometimes you won't find anything but it's worth looking. They are particularly good for longer lasting and better quality decorations for things like Christmas and Halloween.
