Love going back every time! Excellent restaurant. We had a cup of tea as I was feeding my baby. Excellent facilities for the little ones, I was very surprised that they had a microwave,I was able to heat up my baby's lunch.
Lovely store. The electronic department staff was very helpful. The Asian lady name Sussane was extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. Took her time to explain clearly when applying for store card. Been shopping at John Lewis since it opened in Leicester high cross. One can spend the day in this store as the display on every floor is worth looking at. Thank you John Lewis for the wonderful staff and your display.
Had the free offer for a hot drink and cake but went to order a drink they said they didnt have the powder for a hot chocolate! What is this rubbish?! Had to have the cake standalone! Never coming back here again!!! Never even offered another drink! Rude till person!! Also they know that on Fridays people leave early from work so they should be stocked up for the rush!!! Better to go Cafe Nero or Costa! A- cheap, B- They have the stock ready for customers and C- Better till people!!!! People expect to pay usually 6.50 just for one hot drink and a cake but why should they as they are a rip off and rubbish quality e.g. dry, no taste!! They are a money harvesting company for rubbish quality products! John Lewis, sort out your rubbish in your store!
The store is massive, with great parking nearby, a cafe and lots of other places to visit. The main issue here is the pricing, I rarely visit the store due to this and when I do it is more often than not to look at something in person which I intend to buy online.The last purchase we made was a large light fitting which had a unique style and was unobtainable anywhere else. We bit the bullet and bought it to find out it had been reduced by 30. My partner contacted the store and was told a refund would not be allowed but after a quick email he received a phonecall and they refunded the difference immediately.
Good sized John Lewis with a wide selection. Click and collect available. Cafe is spacious with a good selection though could improve by adding a few vegan options. Staff polite and knowledgeable as is to be expected from a John Lewis
