It's ok. Haven't had my bike serviced there and debating if I should do after reading some of the reviews.I have several vintage bikes and have bought parts from them. Not the cheapest
I had a couple of niggling problems including a bottom bracket that was clicking when c cycling uphill. They quoted 20-30 pounds for parts and labour but when I went to collect it they just had to tighten up the rings holding the bottom bracket and told me no charge.I bought some spare brake pads too as they were a couple of quid cheaper than I could find online. Fantastic service and fair pricing, thanks for the honesty and the advice.I'll be back for anything I'm not confident fixing myself!
My partner became unable to use her legs and was confined to a wheelchair, I am not good with mechanical things and any small problem left me unable to push her to her classes or indeed out the flat. The staff here have at numerous times helped with the wheelchair, giving advice, mechanical tips and even allowing me to use their equipment to resolve issues with the chair. Very helpful and courteous.I also got a discount for replacing an inner tube and fitting it for me since writing this review, cannot express how helpful and kind the staff are at future cycles.
Bike ServiceHad a bike service for my road bike and I cannot remember the gear shifting to ever be as smooth as it is now, even when the bike was new.Will without doubt use Future Cycles for my next cycle service.They are very friendly as well.
Just completed the 5-week bike maintenance course. Very much enjoyed it, the course content and teaching was spot on. Feel much more confident to look after my bike properly now.
