The park named after the Great Icon Nelson Mandela (Madiba). Park is nice but some wild spray work destroying the beauty of park.
Nice open space, children's play area and a really good outdoor gym.
My grandchildren loved this park, the see saw & the large round swing best. Good equipment there for the kids & an enclosed basketball court & outdoor gymn equiptment
the event I attended here was the Nelson Mandela birthday party it was fantastic day out lots going on and lots to do the park itself is just a normal Park if there's not much going on then it's great for a walk or just take your dogs however that's about as much as I can save help this is Douglas month if there's an event going on fantastic easy to get to however do be aware the parking is not fantastic in the area apart from the really expensive parking at the Stadium across the way so if you are visiting I would suggest using the park and ride or just getting the bus
A nice big park which plenty of areas to sit on the grass. It includes a decent outdoor gym area which lots of equipment to use for a fee and also has a free play area for smaller children to use in one section. Also in the park is a sports area which includes several basketball and football courts. This park also has toilets including disabled facilities.
