Western Park is a great place to take the family it has swings etc and more for the children nice walks open spaces if you want a picnic, or just be alone the ice cream man is there in the summer regularly not too sure in the winter go along and see for yourself walk the dog whatever..... Enjoy..................
Very clean , nice to walk in,safe for all to walk. kids,dogs,ect, As chairman of new parks bowls club, why not ,Come a long at the start of the new season,and have a go.Who knows you may like it
Great park for kids it used to have a long slide but they have removed it recently. My son loves that scooter place
It's a lovely park with an open gym, sandpit for kids, and other outdoor fun facilities for even older kids and grown ups too! I've run around the park several times in the past and have quite enjoyed it. I can't comment on the toilet facilities which are on site as I've never had to use them plus I'm quite local which works even better. My daughter enjoys a visit here every single time especially when we throw in a picnic!
Lovely for an Autumn walk, tall matures trees of various varieties. Kids park is good too.
