Something of a hidden, and largely forgotten, jewel in Leicester's historic quarter. I went to see a Christmas show here and the venue was full of charm and warmth. The list of shows, workshops and attractions here is both extensive and diverse. Good local parking and easy access makes the Guildhall an attractive proposition.

We visited a music event here and it is a wonderful venue with incredibly well maintained historical features. It really is worth visiting just to look around the buildings but if you do visit an event here allow extra time just to take in the architecture of this ancient treasure in the midst of a very modern city.

Great Tourist Attraction in Leicester!! It's amazing how old the building is which also houses a very old Library and a Torture Room which shows you how those against the Crown in 14Century where treated! When you look at some of the things to torture people, it's Scary to thing how Brutal our Ancestors where!!!

A beautiful historic buildings. Go for the museum or catch an event. If going to an event in winter though 1)don't sit right near the fire, you'll bake, 2)don't sit right at the back, you'll freeze, 3)do be prepared to sit in your coat (maybe even take a blanket) 4) don't expect a great refreshment option, they don't have a bar so everything is brought in bottled, this means it's usually a very limited selection.

Well you really can't visit Leicester without paying the Guildhall a visit! We used to visit regularly as children so it's also like a trip down memory lane. Great building with lots of historical facts. Worth taking the kids to visit the police cells they will love it!
