End of the line / Start of the line. Well worth a visit. Sit on the station and watch the trains come and go while enjoying a cuppa and a snack from the station cafe run by a cheerful chappie in period costume, as are all the stations staff. Purchase a ticket and ride the Steam & Diesel locomotives to Loughborough which stop at Rothley and Quorn all of which are a delight not to be missed and the scenery is exquisite.
Lovely to see my kids enjoy the steam trains and to see the shed, where all the restoration is been achieved. Great experience for the family.
