Why does it take so long to hire a car when you have submitted all of your details online? The car drank lots of petrol. The staff didn't take the time to show me what each button was for. Also, make sure you go around the car and inspect every mark, scratch, dent and take photos.
Incompetent staff, never on time with car delivery or collection. Avoid if you can.
Avoid these people like the plague. I used to work here and I left because of how scamming customers keeps them in business.
I don't appreciate them because they don't take the responsibility if they fail to give us the car which we have prepaid. They always have a shortage of cars, and this is not reflected when we make a booking either online, or over the phone. The staffs would arbitrarily deny any sort of help when they don't have a car to give out. If the national express coach service is cancelled out without prior information, they compensate the affected passenger by giving a free trip anytime in another six months. However, Europcar doesn't take the liability of any such random cancellation. I was a regular hirer of Europcar, and once I met with a very bitter experience. I don't hire cars from Europcar anymore.
Slow. 4 counters- 1 staff member. Been told to change cars and then told they didn't have any. Came 2nd time and waited over 1 hour for them to sort it all out. Recommend not using these lot.
