Store does not follow their own returns policy and will not refund you. Buyer beware.
Wasted 2 hours because the store wouldn't reserve an item for us. Poor customer service
We brought two playstation network cards one for 20 and the other for 10 when we went to activate the code a few hours later the 10 code had already been used so was not valid etc... We contacted this store who told us to contact sony this went on and on with store visits phone calls etc.... The manager even contacted sony who confirmed that the code was used by someone else and not us it was a real fight to get this sorted we were regular customers at this store often buying 2 copies of the latest games and queing up at midnight for release's and this is the customer service you recieve for a faulty product which they sold. We eventually got given a new code but we should not have to fight for another code when the one you sold was faulty Shame on you smyths toys and shame on the manager you have now lost a lot of custom from me and my family.
I thought this was an excellent store. The choice of toys and recreational activities for all ages was very good and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Jarel was very good with my little boy at the till. Toys r us was never this good.
Good shop, the deals can be misleading thinking you are getting a mega price and it can be the same or cheaper in Argos. Big selection of the larger brands like Lego and dolls, limited on others. If you want something in particular check the stock online and save for collection as they often don't have the same as other stores.Staff are helpful and there is a family toilet at the back for when it takes 2 hours to prepare a Christmas list in March!
