AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Staff were rude and unhelpful. The ladies toilets were that cold you need winter clothing to even enter! Dresses and heels? Ladies I'd bring your coat and scarves! Only one tap worked on both sinks (which to everyone's amazement was the cold one!) Even the hand dryer blew cold air into the already freezer like small, dirty space. The venue itself was also freezing and dirty (clearly they cannot afford heating or a cleaner!). Drinks were also way over priced for what they were (a CAN of dark fruits for 3.50) They even charged for ICE and TAP WATER which to my understanding is a basic human right!? If It wasn't for the spice girls act on i would of excited as soon as i entered! Again AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I will not be wasting my time visiting this utter joke of a 'bar' it deserves to be SHUT!
Before I start I just want to say I only leave bad reviews when I genuinly haven't had a good experience, to start... i went with my boyfriend to see a spice girls tribute act with a 90s afterparty, event was supposed to begin at 20:00 and go on until 22:00 but was not let in to the venue until 20:20 (as there was a problem with the till) i understand these things happen but sure they could of still let us in rather than leaving us standing in the freezing cold, the act started at around 21:00 and had a break at around 21:20 which should of been for ten minutes (but was more like 20) they then played for around another 20 minutes before leaving the stage, they did not look anything like the real spice girls and when not on stage they were just seen with men, not sure who these were but it appeared very unprofessional, though feeling low we wanted to give the dj a chance, and sadly he was not much better he was rarely seen on stage and only played around 3 songs we knew (to bare in mind we are both born in the 90s) we could not bare it any longer and left, the venue was cold all night and drinks were expensive though seen on previous reviews that they are cheap (supposedly) very dissapointed as paid 30 pound for the tickets as a late birthday present for myself and had been looking forward to it for the last 3 weeks, very dossapointed, wont be returning!
What a horrible place to go to. Purchased tickets for a spice girl tribute night! The venue was freezing, even after an hour of being there it was still so cold. Toilets were dirty and so cold. Staff were extremely rude especially one woman behind the bar. Staff were all in coats it was that cold. Yet when we complained The owner/manager told us it wasnt that cold and basically ignored our complaints. Wouod never go back. Left way before the tribute act finished but it was just too cold. The manager told us because it was cold outside the venue was bound to be cold as it relied on customers to heat it up but as it had only sold 40 tickets to this particular event he couldnt help that it was cold.
Nice place especially for small private functions. Toilets need sorting out though, way below par.
Fantastic night. Little drunk. Very happy. Good atmosphere. Good company and good laughs. Highly recommend to anyone out on a rock/fun night out. Will not be disappointed
