Mr Mcgarvey " sorry if spelling that wrong". My defense solicitor was great. Though paid for by the state, Mr Mcgarvey took it upon himself to defend my case thoroughly. He was professional yet very polite and down to earth. He gave me confidence to get through my 3 day trial that ultimately ended being 7 days i may add. Mr McGarvey was there every single day informing me of what was happening every single minuet of the trial. He would not pass me in the courts without checking I was okay and informing me about my case. Even if he was just repeating himself. Overall I will never not choose bray and bray amazing work and people skills.
Useless.What good is a solicitor that's completely unable to effectively communicate and keep their work on call backs?I contacted their Hinckley office, was told their Leicester office would need to pick it up (dispute), two weeks pass, no response. I call the Leicester office chasing, only to be told they had no record and needed to repeat chapter and verse again, I was told by Helena that Gordon would pick it up and call me back, another week passes, I call back, I'm again told I'll get a call back the following day, a week passes...I give up.On the basis of this interaction and wasting my time, I'd choose another firm that appreciates the predicament you may be in and can empathise and understand your timescales.
Would not recommend very bad experience the solicitor never answered the phone or got in contact even after leaving so many voicemail and sent lots of emails still didn't get a reply had to deal with them for over 5 months regarding a matter and felt like i lost so many years of my life because of stress even after them receiving funds to pay me they still didn't transfer the money to my account very unprofessional and useless would never wish to deal with them again
