I had been going to this salon for years, sadly after having my hair messed up twice (I like to give second chances) I can no longer recommend this place. It's no wonder the best stylists gave left.

Went to this salon last year for the first time. Zahra was brilliant, she talked me through every stage of my facial and then did exactly what she said she would. She understood exactly what I was aiming for and what my skin needed and advised me throughout. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I was offered a drink almost as soon as I arrived and throughout. Best of all I left with my face looking the most radiant it has been for many years and feeling tons better.Since then my whole family have regular treatments ...the hot hot massage is particularly recommended ...i guarantee that you be so relaxed that you will nod off!This is a 5star outfit
I am posting this message to express my shock and deepest disappointment with the service i received upon a recent visit to Aesthetics Hair & Beauty on melton road. It has taken me over a week to come to terms with what i can only describe as abysmal, disrespectful and careless treatment at a saloon which i once admired and frequented...I am a mother, housewife just like many others who once in a while likes to spend her husbands hard earned income on a treat. However, my experience at Aesthetics Hair And Beauty very quickly turned into a nightmare rather than the calm, relaxing ambience they falsely portrayed. I left the place with migrane with not so much as an apology nor any remorse or regret expressed by the management atfer what i can only describe as a nightmare experience.... I had booked in for a relaxation session which included a full body massage. However, uppon arrival and commencement of my massage, rather than playing therapeutic music which is the norm the atmosphere was more like crazy house.. Hard banging annoying music being played at a extremely loud volumes. I asked the masseuse to turn the music down or change the music, but she informed me that this was out of her control and we had to continue the relaxation massage by playing music from my phone ( for one hour treatment) which took my time to choose the right one. Furthermore, there were sounds which i can only describe as similar to building work, including sounds similar to loud drills - more fitting of a building site rather than a salon. I was informed this was the sound of the water pump system in the room next door and 'it is just the way it sounds and that nothing could be done about it'. If this was not enough, the masseuse in the room next door was continuously coughing throghout my whole time there. The combination of the above noises continued throughout and rather than enjoy the experience a was left with migrane, being tormented for an hour incessantly. I mentioned my disappointment and horror to the masseuse who relayed my thoughts to the manager. What happened next was probably the most shockingly unprofessional experience i have ever had at a salon. The manager relayed a message back with the masseuse to offer me a 20% discount on my treatment to appease me. What utter humiliation. I felt totally patronised that rather than offer an apology or a feasible explanation for the abysmal experience, rather than coming out to speak to the customer she felt this was beneath her and that a miserly 20% discount would make amends for what can only be described as the worst salon experience of my life.
