My husband and I are traveling light and needed a laundry stop in Leicester. D.R. Laundrette was closest to our hotel. The laundry machines were in working order but the floors were quite dirty. I had to be especially careful not to let any of my clean laundry drop to the floor. I did not see machines for vending soap or other supplies and there was no change machine, both usually available in laundrettes in my experience. There was a sink with water for washing hands but it had no soap or towels. Although I did not require them, there were no snack or soda machines and internet access was not available. I'm assuming some may prefer that availability. In short, I got my laundry done, but the establishment was bare bones and unkempt. I'd have preferred walking a bit further for a cleaner place for the chore.
