Bar staff don't know how to pull a proper pint. Went in just for a quick one before home asked for a pint of Stella of which started pouring fine then was then over topped with gas and just killed the pint... Within 5 minutes it was dead so I went to ask for her to put a head on it as was flat and was told I don't know what in talking about and it was fine. Not exactly what I'd call good customer service
Great place to go on a Friday night for one on the few places in Leicester for some metal only problem is there is only ever one member of staff working the bar upstairs, which simply doesn't cut it. 2 would be better, 3 would be ideal. Waiting times for a drink can be close to half an hour sometimes. If there were extra staff upstairs, 5 stars all the way
Great friendly bar and venue. Good variety of entertainment and open to all. Young and old!Food is great too.
Great pub. Atmosphere is safe, so good for drinks and chats with friends. A great stop off or long catchup in a place where you can easily talk.
What can you say, the pub is older than me. It's got history, a lovely student community and everyone is made to feel welcome. Drinks are a reasonable price for the city and their is a great selection from cocktails through to craft beer. Smoking are is the best place to chat and listen to the live bands. (and I don't smoke)
